Access Policy - Internet site

• The principle of a web site is to provide accessible content to each individual, whatever its material, software configuration, environment, physical and mental capabilities, and language may be.
• After having known unorganised development efforts over the years, the web is now characterised by more standardised and open concepts, thanks to standardisation.

 Structure and presentation

• The page layouts were executed in CSS (cascading style sheets), which allow for uniform overall presentation of all of the site's pages. 
• Users who de-activate the style sheets from their browser can have access to any information contained on the site.
• The pages are structured with "HTML semantic benchmarks"; that is, pages have a meaning compared to benchmarks that are only used for aspect/appearance.

Navigation

• The site map is accessible from each web page.
• By clicking on the Vicat icon, located at the top left of your screen, you can return at any time to the home page of the site.
• The menu tabs reflect how information is structured.
• Navigation of the menus is possible by using the keys Tab and Maj + Tab.

Keyboard shortcuts (hot keys)

• It is possible to navigate the site without a mouse simply by using a combination of keys.

Language

• The language of each page is specified with sufficient benchmarks.

Links

• Links are accessible by using the Tab and Maj + Tab keys.
• Contiguous links are separated by printable characters in order to avoid any confusion caused by the help feature. 

Font size

• Users can change the size of the font display by using the integrated tool in the pages, or with the help of the menus, or their browser shortcut keys.

Images

• Any significant image has an alternative text when it has no explicit text.
• Page layout does not make use of invisible or hidden images.

Colours

• Texts with colours are also accessible when colour mode is de-activated and has assigned features (borders, underlining, bold, etc).
• Colour contrast in the back plan and front plan is sufficiently high for persons who are visually deficient; black and white display of pages is always possible. 

Tables

• Tables are not used in the presentation of articles and other texts, as they are reserved for the layout of data.
